Recovering Lost Data

It was explained to me that if my pc was partitioned that any file deleted in error can be recovered. The unthinkable has happened. Apart from pc working, I am a songwriter by trade and had about 45 compositions recorded and on my pc. They are mostly mp3 and wave files. Well they have disappeared. I tried using Recuva but that didnt help much as the files were folderized.

Any advice
