Hello. My laptop hasn't been able to check for updates for some time now and Windows bugs me about it. I follow their instructions to manually click "Check for Updates" but I get stuck in this screen with no progress:



I've brushed it off for some time now, thinking it would fix itself but it obviously haven't.

It just loops at that screen forever so I just assume that it's stuck. I left it on for about 2 hours and still that screen

Did you try Microsoft's official fix (resetting the Windows Updates components) ?

I suggest you to try the FixIt first and if it doesn't work, follow the manual procedure.
