I have windows 98 right now and I gotta admit that problems always occur whenever I used it on my old computer. On 98 and Me. But now problems are occuring on my new computer. Todays major problem is the fact that my applications (.....okay, games) are taking forever to start up. No load screen, no hard drive activity. I press alt ctrl del and the game that I am playing is on the list of programs running but nothing is happening for a minute or more. I have already run a scandisk and I defragged the computer but nothing works. On most games it happens everytime I double click the Program Icon. Only on Battlefield 1942 does it happen in-game when you finish a game and are going back to the main menu. Come to think of it, began to happen when I intalled Battlefield 1942: Secret Weapons. It only did it on that game and then about two weeks later its happening to all my games. HELP!!!

Did you down load the Battlefield 1942: Secret Weapons? if you did you may have got a vuris or a spyware that is doing this download and run spybot and hijack this on the hijackthis run and post a log and someone will look at it and see if anything needs to be removed. on the spybot only remove the things in red. if you have a vuris porgram update it and run that here is a link to tools that admin as in a post you can download and use if you have any ? on them repost. Tools Post

Actually I installed Secret Weapons from a CD. But I'm still downloading spybot and Hijackthis just in case.

P.S. Sorry about da language
