You can use programs such as CCleaner and TFC (Temp File Cleaner) to clean all these temporary Internet files.
They're also stored in the following location :

C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files

CCleaner : http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner
TFC : http://www.bleepingc...m/download/tfc/

I believe that is only for Internet Explorer. Firefox and Chrome store them in other locations.

Yeah my bad, I focused on Internet Explorer as for me I see "Temporary Internet Files" as the temp files FOR Internet Explorer only.
But here's the temporary files location for Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox also :

Google Chrome

C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\Cache

Mozilla Firefox

C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<profile>\
