Are antiviruses/virus scans used to detect problems with the file uploaded? If the file has a certain size and the uploaded file also has the same size does this mean they are the right file?

Hi and welcome,

To my knowledge most don't use antivirus to scan files you want to synchronise online. I have linked to the Malwarebyte's one which does, although I've never used it.

If the file sizes are the same it's highly likely they are the same file, although I suppose it can't be guaranteed 100%.
