As of the last day, the proxy settings have not seemed to enable. I will further update if I discover otherwise.

Hi. :)

As of the last day, the proxy settings have not seemed to enable. I will further update if I discover otherwise.

Good, pending no further issues your machine appears to be malware free and we might as well delete all tools used during the course of the malware removal process.

Now in the event your machine does have the unexpected reboot as I mentioned prior feel free to seek further assistance with this.

You can do so in this part of the forum:-

Hardware, Components and Peripherals

Feel free to include a link to this topic if you so wish:-

Uninstall ComboFix:
  • Click on Start >> Run...(or the Windows key and R together) to bring up the Run box:
  • Now type in ComboFix /Uninstall and click OK.
  • Note the space between the X and the /Uninstall, it needs to be there.

Clean-Up with DelFix:

Please download DelFix to your desktop
  • Right-click on delfix.exe and select Run as Administrator to launch the application.
  • Referring to the image below, select all available options:
DelFix.gif
  • Then click on Run.
  • Once it has finished processing, a notepad file named DelFix.txt will open. Post the contents in your next reply for my review.
  • The log can also be located at the root of the system drive, C:\DelFix.txt.
  • After you have posted the aforementioned DelFix.txt, delete it and empty the Recycle Bin.
Now some advice for on-line safety:
