BSOD - help please!

Hello,

I really need help. I´m new here, and I´m not very skilled when we are talking about computers. My computer kept crashing so I decided to reinstall my windows. It seemed it helped but now it crashed again. before I reinstalled the windows I got several BSODs, now it´s second day from reinstalling and I just got one.
This is what I got after the blue screen:

The crash dump points towards a HDD or other storage device problem.

You have reinstalled Windows but did you also install all important updates, this includes service pack 1.
Have you reinstalled the drivers for the motherboard and other important hardware.

You have post on the XP forum but the details that you have provided show the OS to be Windows 7, is that correct.

Download and run Speccy and then post the resultant url with your next reply, details here

No harm done, I wanted to be sure before moving your topic to the appropriate forum :thumbsup:

You have reinstalled Windows but did you also install all important updates, this includes service pack 1.
Have you reinstalled the drivers for the motherboard and other important hardware.

We now know that Windows is not fully up to date so that must be done but can you please answer each question that is asked.

If you address both of the above you may find that you resolve the BSOD issue.

Two other important points that I should mention are 1: when installing the MBs drivers you should install the chipset drivers first and 2: you need to install a free anti virus programme such as Avast or Microsoft Security Essentials.
