ths is the error i am getting. it says / Error 1722. there is a problem with this windows installer package. A program run as part of the setup did not finish as expected. Contact your support personnel vendor. Action UnRegister64bitProxyStub.6C2C1262_EACB_455A_...

I have been trying to uninstall threattrack security i downloaded it from vipre antivirus free trial please help thank you

i downloaded it and it said some of the parts or somthing of the file were corrupted then it said please download a fresh copy

i tried to download the eset vipre removal tool and it gave me the same error message error 1722

Let's try a system restore. Please do the following:

  • Click the Start button
  • Click All Programs
  • Click on Accessories
  • Click on System Tools
  • Click on System Restore

Pick a restore point before the problems started and see if that works. Thank you.

sorry for the late reply but i don't have a system restore point that is early enough before i installed vipre any other suggestions?

Download and reinstall ThreatTrack Security then uninstall it from Control Panel, Programs and Features.

now when i try to uninstall it an error appears and says drivers could not be installed, then it rolls back the action of the uninstall process please help someone thanks in advance

So ThreatTrack Security is still installed, right?

If so, try downloading and installing Revo Uninstaller.

Run it and uninstall ThreatTrack Security that way. Don't allow any restarts. If the uninstall fails, keep going until Revo is finished.

yes it is and i tried every possible way with the revo installer but now the error message i get when i try uninstalling the vipre antivirus threat track security is this ''Error Drivers could not be installed'' ? any idea ?

Keep going with Revo. Let it get rid of it for you. Don't stop when you get the error message.

you don't understand it auto stops i cant over ride it or anything like when it stops it completely rolls back the action
