Computer Starts Up, Then Crashes

Hi, I have a 2 1/2 year old Sony Vaio PCV RX850. Recently, I've been having difficulty getting the computer to start. I'll push the Start button on the box and hear the drive start up, then it will die. It will take me multiple tries to boot up the computer.

About 2 weeks after this issued first started showing up, AVG found and quarantined a trojan horse called Dropper.Small.22.AW :tazz:
