I have forgotten how to place a shortcut icon to a WORD file into the Start Tray (area next to the Start button) -- so that I can easily get to that Word file. Would someone please remind me? Thank you. .... batpark

Right click on an open area of the Taskbar and make sure it's not locked.
Right click and hold on the word document then drag it to the Quick launch area (Start tray) and release the mouse button.
Select Create shortcuts here.
