I just noticed a yellow, vertical line about 1/4 on the right side of my laptop screen. And nothing I do seems to help in removing it. Can someone please help.

Can you try connecting the notebook to an external screen to see if the same display is shown there, this will help to determine if the problem is with the video chip or the notebooks video cable or screen, this sort of problem is not normally caused by drivers.

Please post the brand and model name or number details of the notebook.
