I'm trying to format my computer, it is currently windows 8 and I want to change it to windows 7.
I've got a 64bit windows 7 disk that I also put on a usb stick after seeing that the BIOS couldn't find the CD.
However, it can't find the USB either..

Motherboard: ASUS K55VJ
I have the latest BIOS (Also tried flashing it.. but it wouldn't let me because the "new" bios was too old or something..)

UEFI BIOS and secure boot are possible causes.

A couple of links that may help here and here

Good luck and let us know how it goes.
