Change Internet Explorer Advanced settings
Show contentHide content What can I set in Advanced settings?
The Advanced tab contains settings for various Internet Explorer options, organized by category. Most of these settings can be changed elsewhere in Internet Explorer, but you might find it helpful to change them from this central location. If a setting has an asterisk (*) next to it, you will have to close Internet Explorer and restart it before that change will take effect.
To change Internet Explorer Advanced settings
Click to open Internet Explorer.
In the Tools of Internet Explorer, I did not find anything you had listed.
I clicked on Windows Help and Support....well, for Help. I pasted the page below. Is this what you want me to do?
I have NOT done anything yet!
Click the Tools button, and then click Internet Options.
Click the Advanced tab.

This feature resets Internet Explorer options to their default settings (as they were when you first installed Internet Explorer).
Show contentHide content What does Reset Internet Explorer settings do?
This feature restores Internet Explorer to the condition it was in when you first installed it. It is typically used to troubleshoot problems with performance or getting online. Although this option will reset nearly every user setting in Internet Explorer, it doesn't delete your favorites, feeds, or Group Policy settings. For more information see Reset Internet Explorer settings.
