Compaq presario cq62 not turning on

hey guys,i was using my laptop yesterday morning. After going for lunch i came back and without i turned on my laptop and it was all was good.
after sometimes the battery when low and the computer shutdown. I plugged in my charger but could not see any sign of charging. I pressed the power button and it turned on for about 2 seconds and went off up to now. Have tried long pressing the power button,removing the battery,changing the adapter but nothing has changed. The strange thing is that the usb ports can charge phone while the machine is still off. Any help plz. Thanks in advance
