I use an HP/Compaq laptop (bought from Alza in Prague in 2012), and I use an adapter cord from an old Dell laptop, and it works fine. But it has a European wall plug. I also have an old adapter from a Toshiba laptop that has an American plug, and would like to use it (as I'm back in the States now), but the jack is the wrong size for the outlet on the HP. Is there any way to find, buy, or make a converter that will enable me to use the Toshiba adapter (with the American plug) with the HP laptop? (of course I have a regular wall plug converter, but I mean I want something that will enable the Toshiba jack to fit into the HP connection, so I can just leave it in.)

New Universal Laptop Chargers are less than $15 (USD), and that includes shipping.
