I have been having this problem for awhile now. I have tried everything I have found on the internet to try and fix this issue but nothing has worked. I found a thread on here of someone who described my exact situation but in the end they decided to re-install windows instead of waiting for direction (http://www.geekstogo...0002-windows-7/). I would love to finally figure out what the issue is here; if it is just a registry key that would be awesome. I downloaded the suggested programs, ran them and attached the log files. Windows Update and and sfc /scannow aren't working. Any help would be appreciated beyond imagination, thanks.
