Hello all,
I have been experiencing periods where my computer becomes unresponsive within the last month or so.
The "mouse" will move, keyboard does not respond, and nothing can be interacted with. It lasts anywhere from 3-5 seconds, but its regular and incredibly annoying.
ProcessLassoPro shows this as a complete dip to 0% responsiveness when it happens, and it occurs on a regular interval, anywhere from every 1-5 minutes modulating to every half hour. This gives me the impression that this is a malicious but scheduled event occurring without my consent. (its occurred twice while making this post)
In addition, any video being recorded with FRAPS will show a visual representation of the frozen time when recording in games as a frozen period in time relative to the occurance.
Audio will also fail regularly during these events.
This seems to have coincided with a java update, but that could be coincidental. Also a new sound Card was recently installed: Creative SB X-Fi
