Hello bod88

Took a look at your earlier thread and I noticed that you have two AV programmes running AVG 2013 and Sophos 2013, this is a bad idea as the two programmes will conflict between each other as they fight for control of system resources and this can actually leave your computer unprotected, AVG is a hog on system resources as is Sophos but the latter is also known to cause problems with your internet connection so I suggest that you uninstall that first

Sophos known issues here

Sophos removal instructions here and here

Let us know how it goes.

Gday Bod88.
Please give the brand/model number of the Laptop.
What OS is installed?
Do you have any discs supplied with the Laptop?
Please look for a sticker, (usually on the bottom of the case) there should be a COA number and a product code, can you find it?
