After the cleaning the drive only had 298g. i lost over 20 gig some place. in bios it still show its 320,but in windowns only showing 288 now with the windows installation. How can i regain tht 20 gig back or is it hidden somplace?

Hello Rascle53

Rather than me tie myself up with the technical jargon that HDD manufacturers use such as binary etc please see the attached link and then use the Hard Drive Size Calculator provided courtesy of U.S. Security Solutions and you will get the same result albeit it is 298.02GB.

It is often described as a marketing ploy and all HDD manufacturers past and present have done it.
