Hi, I hope it's okay to post this here - I had a look at the rules and didn't find anything about this. Just for a start, I promise I'm not a spammer and not trying to sell anything, just a MA student trying to find some people for a 10-minute academic survey.
There's no money in it for me, only (so I hope) a degree! :)

This survey is about where users of software would like to find certain help documentation. Now I know there are many, many geeks here on this site, but even you might have a look at a user guide sometimes ;).
Depending on how many people participate, my research might actually make a difference to what technical authors write!

Anyone can take part, as long as they have ever used a computer (as I expect everyone who is reading this forum has done).
