Hi, GeekstoGo.com was really helpful sometime back in removing some Malware, but my topic was closed before I got the directions for removing the myriad tools (I was admittedly slow to respond and the site didn't like I didn't want to give up some personal info).

Can I please get some links or details for removing:
Avast! antirootkit
OTL
MBR.dat
Security Check
CKScanner
MGADiag
WVCheck

Thank you!

If you are happy with the way the computer is behaving then :

Download and run Delfix

Wow, that was so easy! Thank you!

Did the program also delete itself, b/c I don't see it.

Also, MGADiag is still there, can I just manually del that? And, finally, are there any folder or text files from those other programs I need to remove?

Thanks once more, Essex!

Yes it does self delete, any remaining files/folders can be manually deleted

Well, that's just the thing, I don't know if any of those programs put files/folders somewhere on my C drive when they were running. Can you point me to finding those?
