Hello,

I am getting this error...

ST micro accelerometer has a driver problem


I have Windows 7.


Can someone help?

ok so I just un-installed accelermeter, then installed a more recent version...

so now when I troubleshoot for any driver problems, it doesn't come up as "ST micro accelerometer has a driver problem"
which is good...


however, now my PC Alert is coming up, and saying...

ST Micro Screen Detection Sensor isn't compatible with this version of Windows.


but if I put the older version on - then the last problem I had will most probably be apparent.


Has anyone ever seen or had this issue before, and were you able to fix it?

also when I run troubleshoot I still get this message...

hardware changes might not have been detected

There is a compatibility issue with your Windows and with the ST Micro Accelerometer. Go to Dell website and download the correct driver there. Or you can also refer to the link below:
