Hi I have seena few people having this problem in the past. I have tried safe mode etc but always stopping after that file. Its a Samsung laptop running Windows 7 and Avast is on the laptop. If you can help me that would be great otherwise I have no option but the old computer shop.

I would like to fix this myself, but it wont boot I don't have a cd and I don't know where to start. It is the first time today, I have tried all the system recovery areas and none work.

Cheers Sam

Have you tried Last Known Good Configuration That Worked from the Advance Boot Menu?

Hi thanks for the reply, sorry if it has taken me a bit of time to reply. The system won't do anything from anywhere, tried booting from windows disk and nothing. I have now sent it into the computer shop. They believe it is actually a hard drive failure. Thanks again.
