Hi all. I have an HP h8-1203 PC and was looking to give it an upgrade. I wondering which components I CAN upgrade and what with? (suggestions?) I am just looking to make it a little bit more robust (get the most out of what I have) for gaming etc. Not looking to do a full build. It uses the 64 bit MB and currently has 8 GB RAM installed.
Thanks for any feedback.

Your rig, > http://h20566.www2.h...44892.199480143
Good CPU and RAM, just let down by the GPU, that is where an upgrade is needed.
You may be limited by the PSU. So the first thing is to look for the PCI-E cables to see how many there are and whether six pin or eight pin.
Also information on the label, brand/model + watts and Amps on the 12 volt rail.

It is not a big case so I would go for a short GPU like this,

Thanks iammykyl,
The GPU's look great. I checked out my PSU; Model-PCA246, Watts-460, 12Va-15A, 12Vb-18A, 12vc-10A, 12V-0.3A. Could only find 1x 6pin PCI-E cable. I am I right in saying I'll require a PSU with an 8 pin for the GPU?
Also, looking at my rig (thanks for the link) could i double my RAM up to 16GB, or would that not be necessary/suggested.
Thanks for your help so far.

Gday.
Good info for the PSU. matches, > http://allpcpower.com/pca246.aspx
Dimensions: 150mm x 140mm x 86mm (5.9 x 5.5 x 3.4 inches
Yes, a new PSU will be needed, any from the link will be good.
My choice, XFX TS Series XFX TS 550W > http://www.newegg.co...%24%24%24%24%24
The selected GPU, as well as being short in length, has a fan/blower that exhausts out the back. I think this important as many HP.DELL cases have limited options for case cooling.
