What's up! I finally got my hands on Windows 7 Professional. I got it from Tek-Micro.com ... I was wondering what browser

best interfaces with this OS? Which browser runs the fastest, say among Safari, Chrome or Firefox, even Explorer?

Steven Pantheon,

This subject really is a matter of opinion. To find the browser that is best for you, you will need to think about what you're looking for in a browser such as security, available tools/applications a browser may or may not offer in comparison to other browsers, speed of the browser, if its user friendly, reliability and other factors.

Take a look at this website to help you decide on what browser is best for you -- Browser Software Reviews 2014

I personally use Google Chrome; it's quick, secure and reliable.

It is indeed a very much a personal prefference for any browser, there are many out there now too, though quite a lot of the other browsers use certain parts of the main browsers under license.

I personally use Firefox, and also just a personal opinion, I try to stay away from Google and its products due to their total lack of concern for privacy.

Unfortunately as I use Youtube, and the Google search, I can't get away completely, but do limit as much personal information as possible.

As for how many browsers are there to choose from, Wiki lists, and also shows history of development and main engines used. Interesting read if nothing else :-
