Hello,

I have Roadrunner internet through Brighthouse cable.  It is really the only high speed internet we have in our area.  For 2 months now we have had serious issues with our connection.  The internet goes out every 25 to 30 minutes and comes back on a few minutes later.  We have called out many service men and they all either boost the signal, replace the router, or just say that there doesn't seem to be anything wrong and they leave.

I still cannot stay connected to the internet.  We rent their modem/router combo and pay a lot of money for 30mbs service.  I'm very frustrated at this point and I have no idea what to do.

Any advice?

Do you have trouble connecting to a specific site, or every site?

What's your operating system? If Windows, follow the instructions below:

When you have no connectivity, press the Windows key and type "command" (Vista, 7, 8). Click the command icon, and you'll see a command prompt (or command line) window. Finally, type "tracert google.com". Paste the results. :)

A tracert identifies every "hop" in your network/internet connection, and where any failures exist.
