i have perfect internet connection my other browsers work fine but IE11 in windows 8.1 will not bring up any page.. please help

Hi,

 

Try to reset Internet Explorer 11 to the defaults following the instructions here.

i also did a sfc /scannow and this was the result Microsoft Windows [Version 6.3.9600]

Good.

 

It's not good to have sfc reporting errors, run it one more time if it continues to report that couldn't fix the errors try this two commands also from command prompt running as Administrator:

dism /online /cleanup-image /checkhealth

dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
