As the MSI A88x-G43 Mobo offers fan speed control plus temperature sensing to control case fan speed, what type case fans should be used?
I will only be using 120mm size fans. Case is Cougar Solution AF2 ATX capable of using 6 fans. Using AMD A6-5400K, Corsair CX430M PSU;
WD 1T 7200RPM 64mgb Cache HDD; 4Mgb Ram; LG Super Multi Drive Sata GH24NSBO optical drive. One fan came with case with 3 point connector, am not sure of brand or speed but will replace if noisy as some reviews point out. As some fans come with built in switch, some with special type wire, I am unsure which to order to take advantage of Mobo controls. APU & RAM are mounted and Mobo is in case along with PSU and am awaiting arrival of HDD and DVD and new retail 32/64 Win 8.1 OS to finish build and suddenly I realized I need to consider proper cooling of the case before I finish the job. As I am not a gamer, I am sure I do not need all six fans, but I think one intake over the HDD in front and one exhaust in back and one exhaust in top should cover my needs. All air intakes will be filtered. The projected Wattage use is 165. Any ideas?
