Open a command prompt (not elevated) and enter

echo %comspec%

Response should be:

C:\windows\system32\cmd.exe

Repeat from a ELevated Command prompt, response should be the same.

If it's not, change it.

Control Panel

System

Advanced System Settings

Environment Variables button

Set Comspec under System variables to C:\windows\system32\cmd.exe

See if that helps.

Hi,

Please can you type cmd on the search box right click the result and select Properties, then post a screenshot showing the properties window.
