The main one at the moment is Napoleon in Russia by Talonsoft ... but not only can't I set up XP mode on my Win7 PC but now my only game disk has errors on it and won't install on my XP machine or allow me to make a functional copy on another disk ... which I had to do before because the disk was getting scratched up. UGH!!!

Did you buy the game recently? It may still be under warranty.

oh no, this game is from 1997 ... http://en.wikipedia....oleon_in_Russia

A friend and I had renewed our friendship in combat and were trying some 'mods' and then I lost my ability to play it on my laptop and my desktop crashed and forgetting I upgraded it to Win7 Home Premium ...

I'm a wargamer from way back in my youth when I played the old board war games. I found the ones that were made by Talonsoft and bought a new one every time they came out.

Then when Talonsoft decided to go a new direction ... the programmer (John Tiller) decided to go on his own and I started working for him (he doesn't have them either, I asked) but

I still like to play the old style sometimes just as a break from the newer ones and because some of my friends haven't bought the new ones. I WILL find some way to get the game

or get my copy to work right.

Thanks for all your efforts here ...
