Microsoftwareremovaltool is running now for over three hours all I wish to knoe is this NORMAL or is something wrong

 

I did a custom scan

 

of only the C drive

8 hours and 28 minutes later

 

eye went on my battery to keep it running

 

now eye have to turn it off

 

wanted it too finish

 

this seems impossible

 

who the H could run this thing to completion 

 

even a Homeowner has to sleep

Your topic -- When you state "MSRT," I assume you mean the Malicious Software Removal Tool, correct? Do you suspect malware (viruses, spyware, trojans, etc) is on your computer? If you do suspect this, please read this: Malware and Spyware Cleaning Guide and follow all the instructions listed.
