cant view youtube...tried to update java but gives error

when i try to look at a youtube video...it gives me a black fuzzy screen. I tried to update Java to latest version.....dowloaded the file but when i run it it says

 

' regdeletekeyexa not located in advapi32.dll " or something very close to that

 

please help.....

Java has nothing to do with it. Download and install the latest Adobe Flash, that should clear up the problem.

 

Make sure you uncheck Install McAfee Security Scan before doing the download.

That fixed Youtube!!!! Thanks so much.....

 

But file hippo says i need to update java also....and i tried it again after updating the flash player and I still get the same error message. Do i need to have the latest and greates java, or is an older one ok to use?

ok, i read that and used javafix and uninstalled my old version 6...then tried to install the new version and I get the same error message

 

"The procedure entry point RegDeleteKeyExA could not be located in the dynamic link library ADVAPI32.dll  "

Read here: installing JDK8 on Windows XP - advapi32.dll error

Install the latest Java 7, not Java 8.
