ok so right now I'm working on all the "spring cleaning" for all the relatives. Ran into a major problem last week with the systemI was wokring on will not upload any of the important updates from Microsoft; that one My mother is taking it is to look at as it's whatever the tech guy she took it to originally screwedup something un.

My newset problems is fixing another computer. Is a "lovely pre-insallted" machine from Staples. Unfortuantely, the image drive where they put the drivers and any updays or fixes I can't access. even viewing hiddden forlders it says there's nothing there, But it's used the entire image drive and is still trying to add more fils to that drive.

Has ansyone had this happen before? I'm a stickler with my maching. Nothing goes on it regardless of why uniless I know where it's going any exactly why I need it

Don't know what you mean by image drive.

Post a snapshot of a fullscreen Disk Management:

To open Disk Management, press Windows key+r, type diskmgmt.msc and press Enter or click GO. Make it full screen. Expand the fields as necessary so everything can be seen.

Are you talking about the Recovery partition? If so that is the main method used to restore a computer to it's factory new state.

You can normally access it via the Start menu or by pressing a Fn key during boot. If you do this, make sure you backup your data first as it will most likely be wiped during the recovery process.
