Hi, I clicked reformat my hard drive by accident and now it doesn't show up when I plug in. I have downloaded the WD Data recovery software, however am unsure to use it as I only have 1gb left on my plan.

When I do data recovery, does it use as much data as it replaces? (nearly 2 Tb)

HELLO, RECOVERY TOOL IS ABLE TO SOLVE YOUR PROBLEM.

AND YOU CAN TRY 4CARD RECOVERY. IT WON'T TAKE TOO MUCH SPACE.

step one, download 4card recovery software and install it on your computer

Step two, run it and select the files that you want to recover

Step three, scan your files and wait for a few minutes.

Step four, put your recovered files on other part

See, quite simple.

Thank you :)

The hard drive is still not being registered by my computer, however the software is scanning the lost files now so it's looking promising.

Cheers :)
