Is it safe if I create a personal WiFi hotspot with My WIFI Router?

I would like to create a hotspot on my laptop with my wifi router software,I can set up the SSID and password very easily.But I wondering is it safe?Or it's better if I created one with wireless router?

FWIW, you don't need anything other than Windows 8 (or Windows 7) to turn your laptop wireless access point.

 

Recommend using a wireless router instead though.

honestly........i recommend you go with the wireless as there are less safety issues.......but you will have to sacrifice your internet speed a little bit.....

Wired home networks are less expensive, faster, and more secure than wireless networks. Wireless trades both speed and some loss of security for greater flexibility.
