HI y'all

Have just gotten a new computer with an Asus GTX760-DC2OC-2GD5

  •

video card- want to connect two older monitors Samsung 943SNXPlus.

Monitors have 15pin D-SUB connector and with converter (DVI-I dual link) one works in DVI-I slot- but other does not in the DVI-D slot on the video card. The converter is for a DVI-D dual link to VGA - this one does not work.

I am using the original VGA(?) cables that came with the monitors.

Could use the HDMI I guess?

Can anyone help me to make both monitors work as efficiently as possible?

thank

For DVI-D to VGA you would need an active adapter to convert the signal. You probably have a passive one. Your best bet would to use the Displayport on the card and get a Displayport to VGA adapter. It is an active adapter, for some reason active displayport convertors are easier to find than DVI-D.
