G'Day Geeks!

I am back again, but thankfully not with a virus this time.   (whew!)

My older desktop computer runs Windows XP.

Of course, Microsoft no longer supports this OS

AND Internet Explorer has been in the news big time of late with this big security hole that's been found.

I don't use this computer all that often so I'm not planning on buying Windows 8 or 8.1.

However, I WOULD like to use a Browser that doesn't have the problem of IE.

I tried to install Firefox maybe 6 months ago but after the install got a series of error messages....

bottom line, it was never functional.

I would now like to install it again, but request your help and support throughout the process, so that this time it will actually work and I can be DONE with Internet Explorer for good.

Thank you in advance for this assistance.

Hello geeksugarbaby,

You can install Firefox from Here

It's a simple download and install, if you receive errors in the process we need to know exactly what those errors are word for word.

Thanks
Joe :)

Got it downloaded and so far it's opening up like it is supposed to this time.

One thing though, is that I had ROBOFORM password manager installed in Internet Explorer.  When I clicked for Firefox to import all my favorites, etc. I thought that it would also install this.

I don't see it on the tool bar and don't see it listed under ADD-ONS.

Is this something that FireFox Support can assist me with?    Do you know?

Have you ever considered other browsers. I personally love Chrome.
