I was just wondering if anyone could help with my dvd drive. It's not recognising certain discs (newer ones) however these are compatible with my laptop. I have tried cleaning the drive with a cleaner dvd, I've done the upper/low filters and also run microsoft fix it, but nothing is working. It's really frustrating trying to get it to work. I've searched high and low on google, but no such help. Please help!

How old is the drive/computer? Sometimes the simplest fix is to replace it.

You can pick a new one for around $20.
