I have a SILVERSTONE ST50F-ES 500W ATX12V v2.3 80 PLUS Certified Active PFC Power Supply which is dead and I need a new one. I'm currently looking at a price of 60$ to get a new ST50F-ES but I wanted to know if there are any comparable psu's that are possibly cheaper.

Silverstone is a good brand and kind of expensive , get one at $60. 500w.

Take a look at this, i have had good luck with Corsair    http://www.newegg.co...N82E16817139050

But here is a Silverstone same place   http://www.newegg.co...N82E16817256061

As seen the Bronze Plus, more then $60.   http://www.newegg.co...N82E16817256065

This place is good to buy from decent prices and trusted.

$49.99 after claiming the MIR, EVGA 600W bronze rated PSU with 49 amps on the +12V rail and a 3 year EVGA warranty, it is in stock here

Any idea why the present PSU failed.
