Ok heres the deal i have alot of ripped music on my computer and i am about to play music off it for some dances at school. 99% of the music has explicit lyrics and the dances the music must be censored. I was wonderin if anyone knew where i could download a free program or somethin that i could put a little beep or scratch noise or anythin into the music file so the dirty word would not be heard
Any suggestions would be apresciated

THanks Tim

Are these MP3 files? There are many editing tools if you want to first convert an MP3 to wav, or other audio format. MP3 Trim is one program that allows editing the MP3 file directly. You could just "trim" out the offending parts.

Another option is to look for "edited" versions of the songs you wish to play. When edited by the publisher, just the words can be removed, leaving the music intact. Other songs actually are recorded twice, one clean version for airplay, and another version for the CD.
