I use a workbook using Excel 2010. When opening files within the workbook they won't open in order. Older viersions would do this. Any suggestions?

I have individal excell sheets in a work book. After opening the work book I open the individal sheets. I previsos versions of excel they would open in order, but with excel 2010 they open randomly. See attached screen shots.

To me it looks like the first image is a Windows Explorer window, Detailed view, sorted by file name, and the second the Windows taskbar showing the name of the Excel files in the order that they were opened, (or closed maybe)?

Does that taskbar pop-up allow you to right-click in there and select sort by filename?

No it doesn't. The second snapshot is the file list as they were opened. The way this program works is we have a series of macros that tie the sheets together. You will note in the first screen shot that there is a file listed at estimating control. after opening that file, then we open the other files. With previsions versions of excel they would open in order, but not with excel 2010.

Sorry, don't have a clue why Microsoft may have made the change. You may be able to change the order of that second list in the registry.
