So last night after i restarted my pc i had no internet access with anything. it says the whole time Unknown Network even when i tried to get internet by connecting to my iPhone (personal hotspot) it still said Unknown Network and Limited Access.

So far i noticed that my Ipv4 and Ipv6 both says: No internet access, and i see nothing in my default gateway.

All other things like my second pc, iPhone and Playstation 3 have internet access but my main pc is the one with the problem.

Te only thing i downloaded that day was Osu! which i removed later because i suck at that game and had to downgrade my Avast antivirus software from internet security to free antivirus because my trial expired so I don't know if my pc has a virus or anything now.

If you want me to install any softwares to repair or whatever, i'm gonna be only able to download it to a USB for to transfer and install it on my main pc since it doesn't have internet access.

Please help me

Assuming this is the Windows 7 PC you posted about back in 2013.

Start, All Programs, Accessories, right click on Command Prompt and Run as Administrator, Yes.  Then type:

ipconfig  /all

and hit Enter.

You will get something like:

Windows IP Configuration

   Host Name . . . . . . . . . . . . : OneGuy
   Primary Dns Suffix  . . . . . . . :
   Node Type . . . . . . . . . . . . : Hybrid
   IP Routing Enabled. . . . . . . . : No
   WINS Proxy Enabled. . . . . . . . : No
   DNS Suffix Search List. . . . . . : myhome.westell.com

Ethernet adapter Local Area Connection:

   Media State . . . . . . . . . . . : Media disconnected
   Connection-specific DNS Suffix  . :
   Description . . . . . . . . . . . : Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller
   Physical Address. . . . . . . . . : 60-EB-69-F4-88-AD
   DHCP Enabled. . . . . . . . . . . : Yes
   Autoconfiguration Enabled . . . . : Yes

Wireless LAN adapter Wireless Network Connection:

   Connection-specific DNS Suffix  . : myhome.westell.com

   Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.11.1
   DHCP Server . . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.11.1
   DNS Servers . . . . . . . . . . . : 8.8.8.8

Tunnel adapter isatap.myhome.westell.com:
...
and so on.

Report your:
 Default Gateway
and
 DNS Servers.

In the same Command Window, try to ping the default gateway address.  Usually it's something like 192.168.0.1 but yours may be different so change the next command to fit your PC:

ping 192.168.0.1

You should get something like:

C:\Windows\system32>ping 192.168.0.1

Pinging 192.168.0.1 with 32 bytes of data:
Reply from 192.168.0.1: bytes=32 time=1ms TTL=64
Reply from 192.168.0.1: bytes=32 time=1ms TTL=64
Reply from 192.168.0.1: bytes=32 time=1ms TTL=64
Reply from 192.168.0.1: bytes=32 time=1ms TTL=64

Ping statistics for 192.168.0.1:
    Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 4, Lost = 0 (0% loss),
Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:
    Minimum = 1ms, Maximum = 1ms, Average = 1ms

Do you or does it time out?

If it doesn't time out then try:

tracert -d 8.8.8.8

This should give you something like:

Tracing route to 8.8.8.8 over a maximum of 30 hops

  1     1 ms     1 ms     1 ms  192.168.0.1
  2    15 ms    16 ms    15 ms  207.118.91.1
  3    14 ms    14 ms    17 ms  208.110.248.153
  4     *        *        *     Request timed out.
  5    50 ms    15 ms    14 ms  67.14.41.70
  6   103 ms   105 ms     *     65.116.65.210
  7    15 ms    15 ms    15 ms  209.85.249.32
  8    17 ms    16 ms    16 ms  66.249.94.199

Does it look like it is connected?

Sounds like the DHCP is not working.  In the Command Window, type

net start DHCP

Does it say:

The requested service has already been started.

More help is available by typing NET HELPMSG 2182.

How about

net  start  bfe

Your picture shows a VPN connection to Hi3G Sweden.  What is that?  Does it sometimes use the cellphone service to connect - perhaps through a separate card?

If you have VPN software I would uninstall it unless it's the only way you can connect.  Sometimes a VPN will block all other traffic while it is up.  If it gets confused and thinks it's up when its not you can be left with no connection.  I found another post with a similar problem caused by the VPN:

Start, All Programs, Accessories, right click on Command Prompt and Run as Administrator, Yes.  Type with an Enter after each line:

netsh  winsock  reset  catalog
netsh  int ipv4  reset  \reset4.log
netsh  int ipv6  reset  \reset6.log
NetSH  WinHTTP  reset  proxy

You will need to reboot but before you do, right click on Computer and select Manage then Device Manager.  Find your Network Adapters and click on the arrow in front ot open them.  For each adapter, right click and Delete or Uninstall.

Reboot.

You will probably need to reenter any encryption passwords for the wireless.  It's best to let Windows handle the wireless rather than some proprietary software that may have come with the adapter.

So i've done the first part now... the command prompt thing and now iam at the Device manager, i uninstalled the Avast! adapters but i doubt about the others:

Bluetooth-Device (Personal Area Network)

Bluetooth-Device (RFCOMM Protocol TDI)

Broadcom 4313 (802.11b/g/n)

Microsoft Virtual Wifi Miniport-adapter

i mean, will these 4 come back after the reboot? because i pretty sure these 4 all came since the very beginning, just asking

They should all be detected and reinstalled when you reboot.  If you want to try a reboot before you uninstall the adapters go ahead and see if it helps.  Maybe you won't need to try the next step.  Interesting that you had an Avast adapter.  I have the free Avast and don't have one.  Guess you have the paid version with the firewall.

Since there were still parts of the Avast Internet Security trial left on your system (the network adapters) you may want to consider cleaning all of Avast off your system and installing the free version again after all the parts of the old, non-functioning AIS program have been removed.  Your network problem is caused by the Avast firewall drivers being left on your system after the 'down grade' to the Free version.

You can get the cleaning utility from here at Avast and download the latest Avast Free antivirus from here .

Yes i said in my first post that i had the Avast Internet Security version, which probably added that adapter but then i had to go back to the Avast Free Antivirus version because my trial expired.

And i tried to reboot without removing those adapters it didnt make any change so i tried to do the same again... opening Command Prompt and type those 4 things and i did this time uninstall all adapters and then i reboot and as you told me... the pc detected them and reinstalled them again. and then i reentered the password but i get the same response which said: this computer has now limited access with ..... and then i tried to connect to my iphone's personal hotspot and i got the same message ''This computer has now limited access with....''

so theres obviously something that the computer is maybe itself limiting it access

Try saving this file:

http://files.avast.c...virus_setup.exe

It should give you the latest version just not the latest definitions.

Can you try  connecting with an Ethernet cable?  Is that a possibility?
