I havent been able to connect to itunes store x several weeks, when I run diagnostics it says "Secure link to itunes store failed." I've already done the "netsh winsock reset" with no luck. Any ideas or suggestions what may be happening or how to fix?

Hey there,

Ouch, sounds like an annoyance!

I would like you to Run Command Prompt as ADMIN and type "netsh winsock reset" and shut down your computer and turn it back on. I know you've tried this but it may help to try again.

If that doesn't work follow these steps in order to remove iTunes.

  1. iTunes
  2. Apple Software Update
  3. Apple Mobile Device Support
  4. Bonjour
  5. Apple Application Support (iTunes 9 or later)

And completely restart and reinstall.

If there's any issues with un-install then end process iPodService.exe.
