HI, Tried Rufus and thought I was getting somewhere until I got a blue screen I will try to post a picture of it
Hi, finally gave up trying to install Windows XP, the laptop is only used for my partners internet, email and the dreaded Facebook and its no longer supported so I've installed Linux and got it running again. Many thanks for all your help Phil I appreciate it
You are welcome Steviep
Installing Linux is a safer option than XP if the internet is to be used so it is probably for the best.
Thanks for the follow up btw
