Side by Side Configuration Incorrect

Hello, Chrome is not working on my laptop, every time I try to open it shows the following message: 

C:/Program File/Google/Chrome/Application/chrome.exe

The application has failed to start because the side by side configuration is incorrect please see the application event log for more detail.

I am running Windows Vista Home Premium, Service Pack 2.

I have reinstalled Chrome and it is working fine now... :D , thanks anyway....
