Hi there,

So for the past two-three weeks I've been randomly getting BSOD stop errors of "System Service Exception" or "IQRL Not Less Than Or Equal To."  I'm hoping that you guys might be able to help me, as Best Buy wants to do a total OS reset, which seems silly to me.

According to BlueScreenView, the issue is caused by multiple drivers:

ntoskrnl.exe

tcpip.sys

NETIO.SYS

I've been getting BSODs mostly while watching Netflix or loading images on Reddit or Imgur.  I attempted to update video card and audio drivers and all supposedly are up to date.  I also uninstalled and reinstalled Silverlight.

I'm using Windows 7 64-bit, SP1 with an i7 @ 2.30 GHz and 8 GB of RAM.

I can't seem to figure out how to attach minidump files, as I apparently am denied access, even while running as admin.  I can certainly attach if someone tells me how.

Any suggestions are extremely appreciated!! :D

Hello

Have you tried re-installing your network card drivers, since 2 of those are Windows drivers for networking. Perhaps that can help you solve the problems.

I will try that once I have access to Ethernet from the library.

Out of curiosity, which drivers are related to the network drivers? The stop codes are often caused by a combination of two of the three drivers.

Upload the minidump files. Let's see what Windbg shows. It's often different than BlueScreenView.

Zip up the last 3-5 and upload the zip file and attach here.

That's what I tried to do, and it says I don't have permission to access, even though I am the admin account and I am running Windows Explorer as admin.  Once I can actually copy the files, I should be able to zip them fine.  I have never had this issue before...

While I await the other logs it seems that Webroot is causing your issue, please remove it with Revo Uninstaller Freeware Here is a good tutorial on the use of Revo Uninstaller.

You will not want to leave your machine unprotected so I suggest a great free AV.....

Avast Free.

Bitdefender Free.

Well there is the problem.....

Webroot SecureAnywhere (Version: 8.0.4.73)

Microsoft Security Essentials (Version: 4.5.216.0)

You have two antivirus applications installed....

I suggest that you remove both of these with REVO, then install one of the Antivirus apps I suggested in my last post.

Let us know if the BSOD issues stop.

Also there are a couple of other issues (unrelated to the BSOD) that we could tackle lets see if removing the antivirus apps clears that issue first.

Since the BSOD seems to happen when you are on the internet using Chrome......

Open Chrome after you change the antivirus and run this test to stress your machine a bit....

While I'm waiting for Avast to download and install, why would Microsoft Security Essentials cause the error? I've never activated nor used it.  Also, Webroot hasn't given me an issue in the past, besides blocking Netflix.  What makes Avast different?

You can not have two antivirus applications running MSE and Webroot are not that great at detection.....

Either way this is your machine, you can not have more than one AV installed......

Remove all but one and your issue should be a thing of the past....
