Is there an iTunes app for tablets that is an actual iTunes app? Everything I have found so far is just an app to synch the tablet with a PC but I don't want that, at least not only that. I am looking for an app that is just like the PC app where I can purchase and download media directly to my tablet.

First of all, it would help if you could tell us what tablet OS you are running. I guess you're running either Android, Windows RT (or even Windows 8/8.1), FirefoxOS, etc. if you can't find an official iTunes application ?

Oh, sorry. Uh... Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1, Android 4.4.2.

 

Everything I have found so far looks like the only tablet you can run iTunes on is of course, an iPad. Won't work on any Android device.

There's no official iTunes application for Android yet. However, around the April 1st of this year, there was rumors that Apple was working on an iTunes application for Android, so you might be able to get it in the future. When, we don't know !
