Hi Guys,

First off thx in advance for the help.

I am having an odd networking issue with my wireless connection. it keeps going from local and internet to local only. I have tried to renew the ip with ip config, updated drivers as well but the problem persists. I am connecting through comcast on an EMTA wireless gateway technicolor. The odd part is if I use my wireless hotspot on my phone and it stays connected so I am kinda lost as to what to do next. I am a former comcast employee so I did verify that all the correct rate codes are set on the backend at comcast for the wireless to be active. I am happy to post any data needed for help. thanks again.. I am running windows vista home basic 32 bit service pack 2. My phone will connect to the wireless just fine as well with no issues. When I run ip config it tells me all media is dissconnected.

Left click the + next to network adapters, right click and un-install your wireless driver and your ethernet driver, make sure and do not tick the box that says delete driver.

Then, click the View menu and select Show hidden devices
Then hit view again and select devices by connection.

Then scroll down right click and uninstall the drivers listed below, dont worry these will be reinstalled upon reboot by windows.
