:welcome:

Hi Anttlee,

CPU is a bit under the requirements for this game see here

http://www.systemreq...o-iii/11243?p=r

Game will take 12GB to install on your 250GB HDD.

Which operating system is on it ?

System Reqirements will give you an idea on which Video card would be best for this game Diablo 3.

Wattage on PSU would depend on how much hardware is on PC and the Video card you choose will tell you what wattage is required.

Have to research more to get an idea on which PSU would fit.

You have one 1 PCI-Express x16 slot for Video card.

Not finding much information on this PC, Processor is an older model can not expect to do much gaming.

What is the GHZ of this processor ?

This could be tough with even games that are 5 years old some are quite demanding of Processor,RAM and Video Card specs.

Give bit more info maybe me or others can give you best options for your system.

What are the input connections are your monitor,VGA or DVI ?

AMD, ATI would be a fit for this processor, i prefer EVGA (NVDIA)

How much RAM is on the integrated card now ?

300W PSU might be o.k. mattering to the graphics card specs and any extra installed hardware.

As i found i believe you are at 2.1 GHZ Processor speed.

Recommended at 2.8 GHZ for Diablo 3.

Game requires Windows 7 , Vista.

Did you understand that your processor does not meet the requirements and you may have issues with Diablo 3, if you buy it after a purchase of a video card ?

Question is how much willing to spend on a graphics card and possibly a PSU ?

NewEgg.com is a good trustworthy place for purchase at good prices

Anttlee,

Yes this is way below other game.

I am not here to make your decisions for you, just guide you , give you advice and help you from my knowledge.

Truthfully if you want to play more of the newer or higher end graphics game you will have to do some upgrading on this system.

May not just be the graphics card and PSU.

You can purchase a newer PC,but that is mattering to how much gaming you want to do on a PC.

Now if it is just a few older games like one just mentioned you should be fine for now.

Google the game along with system requirements on any other game that interests you for now.

Some of the newer graphics cards take up 2 slots on your motherboard.Take a look here, even for PSU's http://www.newegg.com/

Let me know what else you may need to know, plus others do read these posts too.

Hello folks,

jds63 has covered most bases above + you have now purchased a better computer so it may be by the by but keep in mind for the future that you could have looked at upgrading the processor, some information on this here

In addition, the high cost of upgrading older computers will often make it a financially unviable option + newer faster video cards etc can be bottlenecked by slower hardware such as ddr2 Ram which would leave you rather disappointed  :(

True i did mention upgrading, but i did not know if the member wanted to go that far as the CPU. Which is true as you are saying Phill, can not just change the Video card and PSU.

Tough with gaming on an older PC as mentioned before, since most of games in past couple of years are demanding on resources..
