You seem happy with your wired connection so I agree why change it  :cool:

You are welcome btw and thank you for your kind words  :)

Keep us updated on your progress and any further questions along the way please ask, the same when the time comes for upgrading the video card. :thumbsup:

Final couple of suggestions, while you are waiting for ordered parts to arrive download any online manuals that are available for your new hardware, this will help the build go smoother as you will already have an insight as to what connects to where etc, to get you started your MB manual from here,  I always do and strongly suggest that you also do a barebones set-up outside of the case to ensure that all items are working before you go to the trouble of mounting the MB etc, please see the excerpt from my canned text for troubleshooting a new build/MB upgrade etc;

Best couple of suggestions I can make would be first remove the MB and do a barebones set-up on a piece of cardboard (make sure it is larger than the MB) only connect the PSU, the GFX card, screen, 1 stick of Ram and the keyboard.

IF your MB doesn`t have a power test switch (yours does) you will then need to short out the 2 power on pins on the MB header to get the PSU to activate, you can use a small flat bladed screwdriver or a paper clip bent into a U shape, this is perfectly safe if you do not touch anything else, the idea is to see if we can get a BIOS screen if you do you can then add one component at a time until you find the problem component, you must power down and remove the power cord from the wall before adding another component,

That's a great advice. I frankly intended to just put it all inside the case, but if something was not working properly, it would be... problematic to unsrew and dismount everything. :)

As for the manual, yes, I'm going to download it and read it carefully.

Thanks a lot :)
